AEG is being run and its operations are being undertaken by Sainik School Alumni and Defence Service Officers with a Team who are highly qualified Instructors and trainers with varied experience and expertise such as SSB, Training institutes like Indian Military Academy, Regimental Centre and Core Battle School. The team specializes in Programing, Operations, Training and Coaching at various levels. AEG runs classes from PG to XII and foundation classes. It runs coaching and special preparatory classes for Sainik/Military Schools, JNV and RIMC. Emphasis is given on E-learning and Digital literacy. It has a separate wing for coaching and training for entry into NDA and CDS, Defence, Para Military and Police Forces. The focus remains on NDA and CDS entrance exams and SSB preparation especially for girl cadets. AEG has very good classrooms, training infrastructure, Play grounds, separate Boys and Girls Hostels and transportation.
What is NDA
The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the joint Defence Service training institute of the Indian Armed Forces. The NDA is located in Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra. It is the first tri-service academy in the world. Here, cadets of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force train together before they go on to their respective Service academies before commissioning. Army cadets go to Indian Military Academy (IMA) at Dehradun, Air Force cadets to Air Force Academy (AFA) at Dundigal, Hyderabad, and Naval cadets to Indian Naval Academy (INA) at Ezhimala, Kerala. Applicants to the NDA are selected via a written exam conducted by the UPSC every year, followed by extensive interviews by the Services Selection Board covering general aptitude, psychological testing, team skills, leadership qualities as well as physical and social skills, along with medical tests. Incoming classes are accepted twice a year for semesters starting in July and January. About 4,00,000 applicants sit for each written exam every year. Typically, about 6,300 of these are invited to interview and finally, 300-350 are selected to attend the course. The minimum age should be 16.5 years and maximum age should be 19.5 years. Applicants who join the Air Force through the flying branch also go through a test called Computerized Pilot Selection System or CPSS for short.
What is CAPF
The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) consist of seven armed police organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, tasked with maintaining internal security, law and order, counterinsurgency, and protecting borders. Previously referred to as “paramilitary” forces, the term was officially discontinued in 2011.The CAPF is classified into three groups: Border Guarding Forces (Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, and Sashastra Seema Bal), Forces for Internal Security (Central Industrial Security Force and Central Reserve Police Force), and Special Task Force (National Security Guard).[3] While the Assam Rifles is administratively under the MHA and part of the CAPF, its operational control is handled by the Indian Army. Post of general duty constables in all these and rifleman in Asam Rifles is filled through SSC(GD) examinations. In all there are about
35000 to 40000 vacancies but distributed according to state wise quota. EligibilityCandidates who have passed Class 10 exam or equivalent from a recognised board can apply for the SSC GD Vacancy 2025. Candidates should be between 18 to 23 years of age to be eligible for the SSC GD Constable
